What is Circle of Care’s Community Resource Department?
Our Community Resource Department (CRD) helps connect our staff and Passaic County families to services, programs, health care providers, and more. A major part of the Wraparound philosophy includes connecting families to sustainable resources from their own communities. This ensures that they can continue to meet their needs when they leave Circle of Care. We strive to identify and link youth to resources that are individualized to their unique needs and that emphasize their strengths and interests. These “out of the box” strategies can range from recreational activities or structured sports to youth development opportunities such as youth groups, mentoring, volunteerism, or linkage to in-home or community mental health providers.

Wondering where you can find local activities, services, events, and more? Check out Passaic ResourceNet, Passaic County’s online hub for searchable resources, programs, events, webinars, clinical services and supports geared toward family health and wellbeing. If you have a friend or family member in another county with a resource need, tell them to go to NJResourceNet.org and click on their county. This will take them to their county’s resource directory.
