COC Staff #wearorange to Raise Awareness of Gun Violence

Orange is the color that Hadiya Pendleton’s friends wore in her honor when she was shot and killed in Chicago at the ag of 15 – just one week after she performed at President Obama’s 2nd inaugural parade on 2013.  After her death, they asked us to stand up, speak out, and Wear Orange to raise awareness about gun violence.

Circle of Care Staff wore orange on June 4, 2021 to honor and support victims and survivors of gun violence.
